Court Transcripts are a word-for-word record of a Court proceeding taken by a certified Court Reporter.


To request a transcript, you must have the following:

  • case name (example: Smith vs. Smith)

  • case number or docket number associated with the case

  • judge’s name for the case

  • hearing date(s) of the recordings you wish to obtain

If you do not have this information, please contact the Clerk of Court’s Office for the parish where the transcript is being requested. After you have obtained the required information, proceed to the Request Transcript below.
